We welcome your help in accomplishing our mission! You can help us by donating funds to support our programs or by volunteering to participate in our programs.
We receive the bulk of our funding from grants from other charitable organizations and donations from businesses and individuals. We are grateful for any and all donations, no matter how small.
You can donate to the Foundation by completing a donation form and mailing it, together with a check, to the address on the form, or by making a donation here.
The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under federal and state income tax laws, and all contributions to the Foundation are fully tax-deductible.
In recent years, the Foundation has received significant annual support from The Karen Sokolof Javitch Charitable Trust, The Enrichment Foundation at the Omaha Community Foundation and The Vanguard Charitable Endowment. We are especially grateful to these supporters for their assistance in accomplishing our mission.
The Foundation participates in Omaha Gives!, the annual 24-hour charitable challenge to benefit Omaha-area nonprofits sponsored by the Omaha Community Foundation.
The 2015 edition of Omaha Gives! begins at midnight on May 20, 2015, although donors can contribute to the Foundation through Omaha Gives! beginning on May 1, 2015. To make a donation to the Foundation through Omaha Gives!, please visit the Foundation page on the Omaha Gives website.
We welcome volunteers who are willing to assist in the Foundation’s efforts to help blind and visually impaired Nebraska children. If you would like to volunteer to help with one of our projects, serve on our Board of Directors, or otherwise assist us with our mission, please contact us.
